Walker, Texas Ranger was an American television series that aired from 1993 to 2002 starring Chuck Norris as a member of the Texas Rangers.
It filmed in several locations in north Texas where various Esteem Education productions had also taken place, Additionally, there were a few other connections:
- A trained timber wolf who had appeared on the series also appeared on the Phase 1 The Elephant Man of Kaufman County episode and the Phase 2 Houston Animal Roadtrip episode of North Texas Explorer.
- Props from Walker, Texas Ranger were on display at the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in Waco and featured in the Phase 3 Waco, TX episode of North Texas Explorer.
- Several scenes from the show were filmed in the Studios at Las Colinas which was featured in the Hollywood in Texas Phase 3 episode of North Texas Explorer.
- The Combine Store & Cafe was a filming location for the show and was featured in the Phase 1 Something From Nothing episode of North Texas Explorer.
- Animal trainer Doug Terranova, who appeared on two episodes of North Texas Explorer, worked in different capacities on the show.
