The Menger Hotel is an historic lodging facility in San Antonio, TX which is known for hosting multiple presidents. Teddy Roosevelt was known for patronizing the hotel bar and recruiting his "Rough Riders" there. Today, visitors to the bar can still see bullet holes in the walls from some of the more rowdy patrons.
